A man was beaten and robbed three and a half years ago and the case was stalled -- until now. After all that time, there is finally a conviction in the assault.

What the suspects probably did not know at the time is that it was all caught on video, and that video is crucial for the prosecution.

On the security video, you can clearly see these two guys ambush a victim in a parking lot outside Pub Rub restaurant on Woodward across from Comerica Park after a Tigers game in September 2012. The victim Jason Hachigian, spent several days in the hospital.

"I sustained head trauma, a little internal bleeding, blunt trauma to the face, lips, ears," he said. "I had bite marks on me, which was really interesting."

Hachigian was rushed to the hospital with injuries. He also lost his Rolex, phone, wallet and a necklace.

Detroit police reviewed the video and Hachigian said he knew his attackers and could help police find them.

It took three and a half years, but finally one of the accused attackers pleaded guilty to unarmed robbery.

Jason Sami Musallam, 32, of Northville will be sentenced in April. Prosecutors say there is a warrant for the other man seen in the video, 31-year-old Ryan Fishwick of Livonia.

FOX 2 visited Fishwick's last known address in Livonia but didn't find him. He's wanted and Hachigan is relieved he's finally seeing justice after three and half years.

"It's rewarding to see justice finally being served since 2012," Hachigian said.
