Woman awakes to car driven through her porch

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A woman thought someone was breaking into her house early Friday morning.

Upon investigation, she discoverd it was a car that had been driven into her front porch.

"Oh my god, I was so scared," she said.

Police suspect the man who was behind the wheel of the Chrysler 2000 Pacifica, who was found laughing at the situation, was intoxicated when he drove into the house.

As quickly as the destruction was wrought however, neighbors and family members have been helping repair the house.
