Police: 85-year-old man with dementia missing from Detroit
Detroit police need help in finding missing 85-year-old Edward Shaffers-Steppes.
Shaffers-Steppes was last seen leaving his home at 11 a.m. this morning on the 18700 block of Albany near Seven Mile and Mound in Detroit. He was driving a 2013 black GMC Terrain and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a faded gray baseball cap, blue jeans, gold sweater, reading glasses and white gym shoes. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has a medium complexion, mustache and bald head.
Mr. Shaffers-Steppes suffers from dementia.
