NASA to announce "major science finding" about Mars

NASA has called an urgent news conference Monday saying a mystery about Mars may have been sovled. It's not clear what scientists have discovered on the martian surface, but they say on NASA.gov that it is a "major science finding".

People on social media are speculating, of course, and are guessing it could be anything from signs of life to flowing water.

NASA has found evidence that there was at one time water on Mars, including signs that there may have been an ocean covering 20 percent of the planet's surface.

The big announcement is set for eleven-thirty this morning. If you'd like to watch the livestream, you can catch it at www.nasa.gov/nasatv.
