The sites were purchased by Jane's father in the 1950s for himself and his wife. The two later decided to be cremated allowing them to donate their grave sites to someone deserving.

"We talked to many of the agencies, some churches and no one seemed to be able to help us with this."  said Jane Turczyn

After the story appeared on Fox 2, the couple says the response was overwhelming.

With a number of heartfelt and emotional request the couple realized the grave sites needed to go to someone without a voice.

The Turczyn family selected the ARC of Macomb County, a non-profit agency that services adults who have developmental disabilities.

The agency says the grave sites at Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Westland will be given to a deserving father and daughter.

Jane says her parents would be proud that what they purchased so many years ago has accomplished so much.

"They would be honored and this does honor them beautifully." Turczyn says
