A wild police chase is caught on camera.

A driver led Newnan police and Coweta County deputies on a high-speed chase that took them into downtown Atlanta.

Police said the driver rammed a cruiser and evaded a pit maneuver.

It started when Newnan police responded to a call of suspicious people in a Red Lobster parking lot Tuesday night.

Police said there have been recent auto break-ins in the shopping center parking lot.

They said three men jumped into a stolen Dodge Durango. Video shows the suspects trying to run. They are stopped, but not for long.

Police try a pit maneuver. This one wouldn't work. The Durango makes it to the interstate, and there the pursuit takes police to speeds more than 100 miles an hour.

The chase goes from Coweta County into busy Fulton County. At Hamilton E. Holmes, police tried another pit maneuver. This time, it was successful.

Police said three men took off on foot.

One is hit with a stun gun as he tried to jump a fence.

Police said they caught Quantavia Jamaica Rivers (22). They said they are close to capturing the other two.

No one was injured in the chase and police had praise for the patience their officers showed.
