Standoff in Detroit with hit-and-run driver ends with suspect's surrender
DETROIT (FOX 2) - Police were involved in a standoff with a hit-and-run driver in the area of Hubbell and W. Chicago Saturday.
After a few hours the suspect came out into police custody.
The driver reportedly hit a car on Yinger Street on the east side of Dearborn, then refused a traffic stop attempt, leading police on a pursuit into Detroit where he crashed.
The driver had been barricaded inside his vehicle.
