18-year-old woman shot and killed in Westland
An 18-year-old woman was shot and killed Sunday evening at an apartment complex in Westland. Monica Rokita was shot while staying with her boyfriend in the Landing Apartment Complex, near Hunter and Central City Parkway. Police have a suspect in custody, but no details of who that is have been publicly released pending charging decisions from the prosecutor's office.
