Fifth Third to invest $20M in Detroit's G7 neighborhood
Fifth Third is announcing that Detroit’s Gratiot & Seven Mile (G7) neighborhood will officially join the Fifth Third Neighborhood Program in 2026. The Bank is committing $20 million over three years to support economic mobility and financial inclusion in the area. This builds on Fifth Third’s earlier $5 million investment in 2019, when it became the first bank to back Invest Detroit’s Strategic Neighborhood Fund and adopt a neighborhood through the City’s program.
