3 dead after West Bloomfield house fire

A fire erupted in a two-story house in West Bloomfield Township on Sunday evening, sending three people to the hospital, according to Fire Marshal Byron Turnquist.

On Monday morning, fire officials said the three victims - a 12-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl - had died.

Turnquist said that the call came in around 8 p.m. and the department responded in about five minutes. When they arrived, there were three people in the house who were pulled out with injuries.

The house is in the 5500 block of Pembury Lane. There is heavy fire damage on the lower level, and smoke damage throughout the house.
