UPDATE: The missing child was found with her parents in Lansing and is unharmed, according to Michigan State Police.

She was turned over to the authorities and the investigation is ongoing. Any further inquiries should be directed to the Clinton County Sheriff's Office.

Michigan authorities are searching for a vehicle after two parents fled with their child who was supposed to be removed from their custody.

According to Michigan State Police, deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff's Office were court ordered to remove a 4-year-old girl from her parents because she was allegedly in danger. However, before deputies could do so, the parents fled with the child. Police believe the parents somehow learned that their child was being taken.

Police did not provide the parents' names or the girl's name, but did share a photo of the vehicle they are looking for - a white pickup truck with a disabled license plate No. 1314L9.

In the photo, which was taken Wednesday in the area of Michigan and Pennsylvania avenues, the truck bed was full of items, including a large tote and a door. The tailgate was a piece of wood.
