Metro Detroit Muslims keep Palestinians in mind this Ramadan
With the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, Michigan Muslims observing Ramadan say this year will be different. "We?re fasting all day long. Normally the kids will look forward to a big feast on the table. My own children yesterday said 'let?s keep the food down to a minimum.' We can?t forget those who will be fasting all day and having to break their fast on grass that they're pulling from the ground, dirty water, getting no aid, no relief," said Danielle Elzayat.
