Girlz Empowered hosts 2nd annual Back to School Bash
Jamie Sherrod sits down with Tia Johnson, Founder of Girlz Empowered to talk about the organization's 2nd annual Back to School Bash. The event is dedicated to supporting youth and raising awareness about menstrual hygiene. There will be educational workshops, free school supplies, games, food and giveaways. It's happening Saturday, August 17th from 12-4pm at 13000 W Seven Mile Rd.
