Grandmother furious with Oakland University after student nearly robbed in dorm building

Deborah Carter Manuel says she was never notified by Oakland University's alert system when a student there was nearly robbed in her dorm hall on Wednesday. OU says an investigation is ongoing. Cater Manuel's granddaughter is a student at the school, and lives in the same building where the attempted robbery happened.
