The closure of eastbound 696 is creating traffic problems in Oakland County as drivers seek a faster way to get from central Oakland County to I-75. Along 13 Mile Road, a two-lane road is dotted with several schools between Telegraph and Evergreen is seeing major congestion and backups as drivers gets off the closed freeway and try to cut through the neighborhood.
