Detroit cousin celebrates Pope Leo XIV
Pope Leo XIV on the world stage - the first American pontiff - born and raised in the Midwest - originally from Chicago's South Side. Detroiter Alex Plum shared with FOX 2 stories of his great-grandmother Lydia with the Pope's mother, Mildred. Plum's grandfather, George, passed away in 2018, and their cousin, Bishop Robert Prevost, flew in from Peru for the service.
