Local man donates kidney to stranger, hoping to inspire others through "Gift of November" film
Brian Waskiewicz became a living kidney donor after seeing a heartfelt post on social media. A man named Kenny Parrella had been severely injured in a snowmobile accident in Michigan, and his life had been turned upside down. On November 11, 2019, Waskiewicz donated his kidney and says it changed both of thier lives forever. Now, a feature film is in the works with the goal of inspiring others to give the gift of life.
