Hamtramck mayoral election could change, nearly a year later
The race for mayor in Hamtramck was decided by 11 votes in 2025. The day after the election 37 votes were found uncounted. After months of legal arguments, a judge has ordered them to be tallied, and because of the close race, the current mayor could be unseated if the difference for his opponent is more than 11 votes.
