Reactions vary after Pentagon announces public execution of Nidal Hasan

Nidal Hasan was sentenced to death for killing 13 people at Fort Hood. His execution would be first by US military firing squad since 1945.  The death sentence is scheduled to be carried out at Fort Hood on Dec. 3.
