Weekend jail sentence sparks debate

A 32-year-old St. Clair Shores woman was given an unusual sentence involving weekends in jail for a fatal hit-and-run. In addition to two years' probation, Holt will be serving weekends in jail. She will report to Macomb County Jail at 5 p.m. Friday to begin her intermittent lodging.
