Truckers hit hard by skyrocketing Diesel prices

They say it’s pretty brutal and these prices are high enough to affect their business. A lot of them are just filling up for what they need — not all the way if they don’t have to. Some of these trucks only get around 5 miles a gallon if they’re hauling something heavy. Remember — a couple refineries in the Midwest, like the one in Joliet, Illinois, have run into some problems lately, which are contributing to the spikes in prices.
