UAW dropping mask recommendation at auto plants not at high risk for Covid

Face masks will be optional for most workers at auto manufacturing plants under Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis beginning March 4. Following CDC guidance, union leaders said it was safe for employees to remove face coverings as long as their place of work aren't in high risk settings.
