Fresh Perspectives Seminars, an innovative College and Career program based in Detroit, proudly introduces Everton Swearing as its newly appointed Foundation Chair. Swearing, a distinguished design engineer and Sales Executive at VitescoTechnologies, a renowned German automotive supplier, brings his expertise to champion the organization's mission of fostering STEM pathways for students.
Swearing's global leadership in sales for Vitesco’s comprehensive portfolio, encompassing
hybrid electric, electric drive, combustion engines, electronic control units, and more, underscores his dynamic capabilities. Notably honored at the 37th Annual Black Engineer of the Year Award Conference in Washington, DC, earlier this year. Swearing is poised to infuse a fresh, dynamic energy into Fresh Perspectives Seminars. "I am thrilled to be part of an organization that is rewriting the playbook for student success," Swearing exclaimed. "Fresh Perspectives Seminars isn't just mitigating the student debt crisis with over $22 million in scholarships; it's shaping the destiny of STEM education. Inaugurating this exciting new phase, Swearing announced the organization's maiden
fundraising endeavor: the "Detroit Auto Show Brunch – Driving Student Success." Scheduled
for Saturday, September 16, 2023, at The Player’s Playhouse, located at 332 E. Jefferson Ave. in
Detroit. This milestone event promises to galvanize local stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and
corporate entities invested in driving positive change.
Fresh Perspectives Seminars, in tandem with its premier student cohort launching this Fall, is
aligning with the organization’s annual flagship event,The Black Friday Scholarship Bootcamp,
an annual college and career readiness conference. The organization's global footprint,
extends to U.S., Vietnam, Honduras, Mexico, and Roatan, and resonates with their
commitment to worldwide empowerment through seminars and workshops.
Gwen Thomas, the visionary founder of Fresh Perspectives Seminars, highlights the pivotal role
