Media updates helped catch Facebook marketplace murder suspect in Genesee County
A Detroit man is accused of killing a man in Fenton Township during a Facebook Marketplace sale. Minutes before a press briefing in July, police learned that the suspect was following news stories about the murder to see if investigators suspected that he was the killer.
