Elissa Slotkin won the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the retiring Debbie Stabenow on Tuesday, Aug. 6. She gave her acceptance speech in Detroit where supporters booed her challenger - Republican Mike Rogers - and she shut them down: "We don't boo. We win."
