READY, SET, SUCCEED: DRDFS HOSTS ‘PROJECT RUNWAY’ TO JUMPSTART COLLEGE PREP High school sophomores in the DRDFS Next Level Scholars program will participate in financial literacy workshop, leadership training, campus tour, and more on Thursday, Jan. 30, at Eastern Michigan University WHAT: Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars (DRDFS) is hosting its highly anticipated “Project Runway” event, designed to provide sophomore students in its Next Level Scholars® program with a crash course in college preparation. The event features a comprehensive agenda, including a financial literacy workshop, leadership training with nationally recognized leadership consultant Jacqueline M. Baker, a campus tour of Eastern Michigan University (EMU), and a panel discussion with current EMU students. This pivotal day empowers students with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in their post-secondary education journey. WHO: Approximately 150 sophomore students enrolled in the DRDFS Next Level Scholars® program will attend. Many will be the first in their family to attend college.
