Christmas came early for thousands of metro Detroit families who couldn't afford gifts themselves

More than 2,600 kids got gifts this year at the 59th annual Adopt a Child for Christmas program. Some got clothes, some got matchbox cars, everyone felt loved. Generous donors abound donated gifts to families who were too financially-tied to buy gifts themselves.
