Father of suspect in beating of Detroit nursing home patient apologizes, says son needs help

The father of a 20-year-old man seen on video beating an elderly man said his son has had several health issues growing home, has autism, and called from a group home in Chelsea last week to say he wasn't sleeping, was feeling anxious, and hearing voices.
