Safety when Storms Knock Down Power Lines
With spring storms comes damaging winds, toppled trees and down power poles. Spring storms can be deadly, but so can the power lines they bring down. Meteorologist Michael Estime teamed up with DTE Energy to keep you safe. According to Climate Central, [SOURCE: https://medialibrary.climatecentral.org/resources/power-outages] between 2000 and 2019, Michigan led the nation with 111 major weather-related power outages.
