Thousands attend Motor City Pride
The 2026 Motor City Pride festival brought hundreds of vendors and thousands of attendees together June 6, and will continue June 7. The festival was held at Hart Plaza, and featured entertainment and fun for the whole family. “Motor City Pride is a celebration of the strength and diversity of Michigan’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community that is second to none,” said Chairperson Dave Wait. “It is the largest such gathering of our community in the state, run by volunteers, and represents a unique opportunity to come together to mark our accomplishments and rededicate ourselves to the work left to do.”
