Detroit Mayor Sheffield announces 'Occupy the Summer' program
We saw them last month teen takeovers in downtown Detroit. It’s when youth converge on a public space and at times engage in violent activities, like fighting and vandalism. So Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield is using her six-point community safety program to get Detroit youth off the streets and engaged in something positive.
