Remembering Martha Jean 'The Queen'

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we’re putting a spotlight on an icon in the radio industry. Her name — Martha Jean Steinberg. Many simply called her “The Queen.” But “The Queen” became more than a moniker for the radio pioneer. Instead, she used the title to demand equal opportunities and respect for women and minorities in the radio industry while creating a legacy of her own.
