ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - Allen Park police are investigating a serious injury accident involving a Dearborn Heights police car.
Witnesses say that a Dearborn Heights police car was traveling at a high rate of speed without emergency lights as it hit another car at an intersection. The officers' car hit a Lexus sedan with one person inside, t-bone style.
The three people involved including both officers were all transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of injuries are not being released at this time.
Michigan State Police is assisting in the traffic scene investigation.
