WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. (WJBK) - A man is charged with having sex with an underaged girl -- then hatching a plot from behind bars to kidnap her family.
Fadi Seada, 21, is charged with second-degree sexual conduct. He's accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
But while in jail, he allegedly hired someone to break into the girl's house in Superior Township, kidnap her parents and threaten to kill them if they didn't drop the case. Seada and the 15-year-old girl were in a sexual relationship that her parents didn't approve of, according to court records.
The man never went to the family's house, and no kidnapping took place. But now Seada faces even more charges.
He's also charged with solicitation of first-degree home invasion, unlawful imprisonment and witness intimidation in a second case.
The man Seada is accused of soliciting to break into the house has not been charged, according to court records.
He remains in jail with no bond on the CSC case and a $100,000 cash bond in the second case. His jury trail is set to begin in January.
