Michigan's only venomous snake: What is the Eastern massasauga?

Snake bites are rare in Michigan - but they do happen. If it's from the state's only venomous snake, plan on the bite hurting a lot. However, the Eastern massasauga's numbers have been falling in the state. Steven Parrish with the University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum explains.
