1917 American Bistro is Part of Detroit's Restaurant Resurgence

Detroit's downtown resurgence isn't happening without 'the eats.' 

Chef Don Studvent, owner of 1917 American Bistro on Livernois, is part of the restaurant revival along the avenue of fashion near the University District in Detroit. 

He visited the Fox2 Studios Saturday to share some of his signature dishes, including Blackened Creole Catfish, Chicken Alfredo, Fried Catfish, Crabcakes, Creole Chicken with Smashed Potatoes, Veggie Omelet, Grits & Shrimp, Grilled Lamb chops.
