Angels of Hope annual gala raises more than $100,000

(WJBK) - Here at FOX 2, we try to keep you informed of all the charity events in the community. But what happens after the event, and where does the money go? 

Angels of Hope is an all-volunteer foundation that helps families going through some very difficult times. 

At their recent Angels of Hope Annual Gala, Jay Towers offered to put anyone on TV who donated $10,000 to the organization. Well four people stepped up to the challenge, helping Angels of Hope exceed their $100,000 goal by $27,751.
