Animator Ron Campbell on tour in West Bloomfield Twp.

(WJBK) - Animator Ron Campbell is exhibiting his cartoon pop art with a heavy emphasis on the Beatles at a special event here in metro Detroit.

The artist is well known as the director of the 1960's Saturday Morning Beatles Cartoon series, and as animator of the Beatles film Yellow Submarine. He has also worked on other cartoons such as Scooby Doo, the Smurfs, Rugrats, Winnie the Pooh, Flintstones, Jetsons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & more.

He'll be at Danielle Peleg Gallery this weekend, Friday July 15-Sunday, July 17.

Friday 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The Danielle Peleg Gallery is located at 4301 Orchard Lake Road in suite 145 in West Bloomfield Township.
