Detroit Mercy vs. Wayne State basketball game to benefit Detroit schools
(WJBK) - It's a battle for a good cause.
Detroit Mercy and Wayne State are taking it to the basketball court for a friendly game that benefits Detroit Public Schools on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m., inside historic Calihan Hall.
Joining FOX 2 to talk more about the big game is Detroit Mercy coach Bacari Alexander and WSU Head Basketball Coach David Grier.
Tickets to the game are set at $2 per person and can be purchased now and only in person at Calihan Hall, 4001 W. McNichols Road in Detroit. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Detroit Public Schools K-5 with Michigan First Credit Union contributing a matching donation for all tickets sold.
