Give back with Royal Oak Restaurant Week Nov. 4-13
(WJBK) - Royal Oak Restaurant Week is back!
More than 25 of downtown Royal Oak's top restaurants and venues are taking part this round. They will have 3-course lunch and dinner options for $15, $25 and $35. Reservations are recommended.
You can give back to a special cause during Royal Oak Restaurant Week. If you bring a non-perishable food item to the restaurant, the donation will go to Open Hands Food Pantry in Royal Oak, and then the restaurant will "give back" to you, too, with a special offer or coupon for a future visit.

Mesa Shrimp Ceviche
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shrimp
- 4tbsp fresh lime juice, divided
- 1/2 Roma tomato, finely chopped
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 2tbsp finely chopped cilantro
- 2 avocado, peeled, pitted, and coarsely mashed
Mix all ingredients together, add salt to taste
