Local Authors Publish New Book on Bashara Murder Case

The murder of Jane Bashara and the complex criminal cases built against her killer and her husband, Bob, the murder-plot orchestrator, became one of the most notorious crime stories in Metro Detroit history and captivated the nation.

Detroit News crime reporter George Hunter, who won several awards for his coverage of the case, and his wife Lynn Rosenthal, a Detroit-area freelance writer, just wrote a new book from Exposit True Crime/McFarland Publishers called "The Sadist, the Hitman and the Murder of Jane Bashara,"

Both authors dropped by the Fox 2 News studios Sunday morning to discuss the book, which tells the story of "Master Bob's" secret life, Detroit's underground S&M scene, and the swift downfall of a once-respected Grosse Pointe businessman. They
