The Motown Museum in downtown Detoit is typically closed on Monday, but it will be open for a special event honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Motown's Black Forum Label-a spoken word label created by Berry Gordy and the Motown Corporation in the '60s was a venue for Black expression and education. The label served to capture the voices of African American poets and orators and even recorded Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech.

In honor of MLK Day, the museum will offer free admission to youth 17 and under accompanied by a guardian, as well as unique experiences and giveaways along the way.

Motown Museum COO Sara Azu stopped by the Fox2 News studios Sunday morning to preview the event.
