Pistons owner Tom Gore teams up with Toys for Tots

(FOX 2) - Tis the season for giving, and Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores is doing just that. 

He's helping Toys for Tots deliver thousands of toys to families in need. 

Approximately 7,500 toys, bicycles and helmets will be distributed to families in Detroit by Marines and volunteers of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.  Without these gifts, many of these families would not otherwise be able to provide holiday gifts for their loved ones this year.

Families receiving the toys this year have been pre-registered and pre-determined.
