Science fun for kids at Meridian Winter Blast

(WJBK) - The countdown to this year's Meridian Winter Blast is on. 

This year's event is Friday, January 26 - Sunday, January 28. Winter Blast is held during the last weekend of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), and all NAIAS attendees are invited to enter the festival for free with an NAIAS admission stamp.

Winter Blast brings top entertainment, food and fun to Campus Martius Park downtown. 

Susie Marvin from the Michigan Science Center representative and Mark Kent Jones, a DTE Energy Representative, joined us on The Nine to tell us more about the kid's activities that will be at the festival. You can hear more from them in the video player above.
