The Shriners support support 22 Shrine Hospitals for Children across the United Sates. We treat a host of childhood illnesses like spine defects, facial deformities, leg and hip deformities, and burn victims.
Our Detroit Shrine supports 3 hospitals directly: a world-leading burn unitin Cincinnati; A motion lab unit that supports spinal and motion correction surgery in Erie; and a facial reconstruction, cleft palette, and port wine stain correction in Chicago. The group transports Detroit-area children weekly for treatment.
