Detroit Police are on the scene of a shootout on the city's west Wednesday afternoon.

Around 3:00 p.m., police were called to Greenfield and Plymouth to a report of shots fired inside the Sunoco gas station.

According to police, multiple suspects left the scene and police are still searching for a weapon.

Witnesses said they counted about eight shots fired. Police said nobody was injured and they are still investigating.

After the shooting, customers continued to conduct business - pumping gas, purchasing items, etc - until police arrived and taped off the area.

Police are still working to get surveillance video from inside the gas station but as of 5:00 p.m., do not have any suspects.
