Minivan driver hits three women before being arrested in Detroit

An older Dodge Caravan appeared to try to run down three women today in Detroit.

Detroit police say the circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated. It is unclear why the driver, who was in a 2002 Dodge Caravan, to hit the three women, strike other vehicles in the area and ultimately hit a tree.

In the YouTube video provided courtesy of user FlowerTower  it appeared there was some kind of altercation between the driver of the minvan, an older white woman, and people outside of their houses. At some point the driver became agitated and started going up and down the street appearing to try to hit the younger black women.

The video shows some women on the street break out the windows of the minivan during the altercation.
