WEB UPDATE: Detroit police have released a photo of the suspect wanted in a triple shooting on the city's east side Monday morning.

Suspect Cornelius Dennis, is wanted for fatally shooting the mother of his ex-girlfriend, wounding his ex-girlfriend and wounding her new boyfriend. Dennis is 32 and 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 160 - 170 lbs. He's known to drive a black 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 pick up truck with an extended cab and a Tonneau cover. The license plate is DSL 1817.

Police say the shooting happened just before 3 a.m. Monday in the 5200 block of Kensington Avenue, which is near Outer Drive and Chandler Park.

The 29-year-old ex-girlfriend was at the home and heard the side door rattling, and then her ex-boyfriend burst into the home. She told police he went to her mother's bedroom upstairs and shot her multiple times. Police say then the man went and shot the ex-girlfriend in the stomach, and then found her new boyfriend and shot him also.

Police say consider Dennis armed and dangerous, and if you see him or the vehicle or know of his whereabouts you're asked to call Detroit Police immediately.

Both the 29-year-old woman and her 33-year-old boyfriend were taken to the hospital but it's not known right now how serious their injuries are.

Police also say two small children were found in the home but were not harmed.
