Fans and players try to beat the heat at Rocket Mortgage Classic

DETROIT (FOX 2) - It's the Rocket Mortgage Classic - and with temperatures skyrocketing Friday, fans and players alike are trying to keep cool.

For many in attendance, dehydration is a real concern. At a first-aid station medics were tending to a spectator and a few others required special attention as well.

But all in all organizers say people are doing pretty well - and if not, medical professionals are on site and ready to respond.
