Johnson & Johnson is the latest company to list drugs on TrumpRx
Trump makes announcement on drug pricing deal
President Donald Trump made a major healthcare announcement from the Oval Office on Thursday, April 23. The president said the White House struck a deal with Regeneron to lower prescription drug prices. Trump was joined by several people, including HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Johnson & Johnson is the latest drugmaker to start selling some of its drugs on the TrumpRx website.
The company told Reuters Friday that four of its drugs will be available on the Trump administration’s site. TrumpRx doesn’t sell discounted medications. It directs users to drugmakers’ own direct‑to‑consumer websites.
Which J&J drugs are on TrumpRx?
The company said it would begin offering the following: diabetes drugs Invokamet, Invokamet XR and Invokana, as well as blood thinner Xarelto. They’re also available by going directly to Johnson & Johnson’s own website, JNJ Direct.
What is TrumpRx?
The backstory:
TrumpRx was launched in February. It’s designed for cash‑paying patients who are either uninsured or whose insurance doesn’t cover a particular drug.

The government‑hosted site is not a place to purchase medications directly. Instead, it directs users to drugmakers’ own direct‑to‑consumer websites, where they can buy medications or access pharmacy coupons.

Drugmakers who list their drugs on TrumpRx have voluntarily agreed to lower their prices in exchange for being exempt from President Trump’s tariffs. The administration has touted substantial discounts, though it’s unclear just how much impact the changes will have for family budgets.

The site includes the disclaimer that prices "may be even lower" for people with insurance, as it lists the "out-of-pocket price." Also, some people might be able to use available generics that cost less than brand-name medications.
By the numbers:
The site debuted with more than 40 drugs, and has since grown to 80 medications.

Other major drugmakers, including Pfizer, Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca, all have drugs listed on the TrumpRx website.

Dig deeper:
The site is part of a larger effort by the Trump administration to show it’s tackling the challenges of high costs. Affordability has emerged as a political vulnerability for Trump and his Republican allies going into November’s midterm elections, especially with gas prices surging since Trump launched a war with Iran.
